The market is a beginner level instrument niche moderately hard to chew. There is no shortage of beginner-level musical instruments, and you can even buy them in the traders major retailers like Wal-Mart or Target.
However, the old adage "you get what you pay" applies when buying an instrument in the same place you can buy motor oil. Obviously it's a challenge to buy a good instrument for beginners without losing their money.
You must look beyond the Epiphone Les Paul Special II, which costs less than $ 170. Although patent and a guitar is aimed at low-budget market, it still receives a lot of explosion for the dollar.
The Epiphone Les Paul Special II is a remarkable entry into the market with its strong budgetary instrument playability and full sound.
The Epiphone Les Paul Special II sports two open coil humbuckers (the 700T and 650R), which converts the acoustic signal your body and lime. The guitar has a bolt on neck (mahogany) and a rosewood fingerboard. A tune-o-matic bridge with tailpiece Stopbar are actions, such as inlaid points.
A selector 3-way switch with master volume and tone controls allows you to configure sound. Guitar specs include a 24-3/4 "scale and 1-5/8" width nut.
Before that could really put the guitar through its paces, we had to make minor adjustments, such as setting the tone and appropriate action. The pickup selector requires a contact cleaner to remove some of striped and tuners also need to adjust a touch.
However, these problems were relatively modest. In general, we were happy with the quality of the Les Paul Special II. The finish (red wine) is really nice in general, but is a bit thin, so you have to try not too bad nick.
Overall, both the sound and action were very strong, particularly for a sub-$ 200 guitar. The neck had a couple of dead spots, but that is expected for budget guitars. It is still a wonderful instrument for the money.
Especially given its low cost, we think the Epiphone Les Paul Special II is an excellent guitar for the beginner or someone looking for a practical instrument for low cost.
